Had my great niece and great nephew over yesterday.. And I just had to snap some pics of Anyston and Preston together.. The size difference in these two just kills me it is so funny. Preston is just so massive compared to her.. Preston will be 2 in April and Anyston will be 2 in July.. Yes they are only 3 months apart and he could eat her for dinner..

But after my in laws having 10 grand boys we finally did get a little girl.... Nate's brother and his wife had a little girl, she is so dang cute.. And yes I plan to spoil her rotten..

White stuff?

I was starting to wonder if my house had somehow moved to Arizona.. Here is was January 6 and we had yet to have any snow for the year.. We would got a couple little dustings in November but by 2 p.m. the golfers would be out with the snow melted.. So when we woke on Sat morn to 4 inches of snow my kids were super excited..

Even though we didn't get that much and it is starting to melt a little now the kids have played a couple times in the snow and have loved it.. I was glad we got some of that white stuff but now I'm ready for Summer..

Camden was such a good brother and pulled Carter and Preston around on his sled..

Below is my darling cute little boy.. He is so cute and fun but man he is turning into a bugger.. He is into everything.. (in fact his shirt says "My parents don't need to know about this") And lately his thing is.....

This.. The toilet.. I swear what is it with kids and toilets I mean I don't look at the toilet and think jeez I would like to put my hand in that and play and splash.. Just thinking if my parents never told me it was gross and icky would I think it would be o.k. to play in it.. I'm thinking NO... But for some reason my little Preston thinks it's his play land.

In fact funny story.. So one day Carter had to go #2 so he went then he called me to come and wipe anywho as we get done and I go to flush I realize Preston has put some things in the toilet that need to come out so then I had to proceed and get items out of the toilet leaving the other stuff in and flush.. Yeah he makes my life full of funny stories.. (You can quit laughing now...)

Yeah we got Meat... LOL My sister and her husband raise cows and then they let us get meat... We love it, (Nate really loves it) In November our cow was ready.. We used to get only a 1/2 beef but we started running low sooner then later.. So We have been getting a full cow lately.. This year our cow was pretty big.. Yeah your looking at 650lbs of beef.. It took up my whole freezer..

Half Marathon... Who me?

So my sister a couple of months ago asked me if I would run the Bear Lake half Marathon with her.. I said sure whatever, not thinking we would actually sign up.. Well guess who is signed up.. ME.. Yeah what am I gonna do.. Run? LOL My nieces and my other sister are going to do it too. So that will be good to have a lot of motivation to get my butt going.. I'm glad I have 6 months to get up and going... Now if Winter will just hurry up and go away.. I hate running in the freezing cold.. So if you see me laying on the ground somewhere it's cuz I'm worn out from running.. Just toss some water out your window and tell me to get up and keep going..

Need time to slow down.. My little guy is almost 20 mo old.. And that means he is almost 2 which means he is no longer a baby.. I have so much fun with this guy, he is starting to talk and being able to let us know what he wants..

He is so fun with his big brothers.. Even though he is destroying my Christmas tree each day, he is so fun. And I'm thinking he is gonna love Christmas this year..

Been meaning to blog about Halloween but November is a crazy month for us.. Not only do we have 9 birthday's this month but I just think November is a busy month for everyone.. So better late then never.. Here are some darling Halloween pics..

Cold Water Canyon..

So 2 weekends ago the boys wanted to go hiking so we packed our stuff up and headed up Cold Water Canyon. It's just above Nate's parents house so it was nice to be close by.. We had lots of fun and the boys loved it.. On our hike we came across a bunch of Elderberry trees. I had never heard of them, but Nate's dad was telling us how you can eat them and you can make jam and syrup out of them.. Well that got Nate's brain a thinking so of course we had to go up again the next weekend and get some..

Now mind you I'm thinking Nate wont make a ton and it will be something easy to do.. Well 6 hours later and not that many jars done it was pretty hard work but taste yummy..

Nate picked 6 bags fulls of these things, luckily we had a steam/juicer to do the hard part.. No way would I do it the normal way of cooking these things down..

Got the juice cooking for some jelly.

Yummy.. Elderberry Jelly... We did about 17 pints of Jelly and 9 pints of Syrup.. The syrup is very tasty and I can't wait for pancakes.. Supposedly Elderberries are very good for your health and they recommend taking a tsp of syrup a day for cold/flu symptoms.. Who would've known and just think they were up in the hills and free for taking..

A couple of weeks ago we took a nice Sunday drive to try and see the leaves.. We had been camping the weekend before and the leaves were great.. They hadn't changed much yet by our house but the kids were looking for some cool rocks.. We stopped on the divide so they could look around..

First Annual Barlow Yard Clean up...

I decided this year that my parents yard could use some clean up.. I go up every week and mow the lawn but I couldn't do all the other stuff that needed done.. So I called my brother and sisters and said time for yard work at mom and dads.. It was great to have everyone show up and help out. We got a lot of stuff done and their yard looks amazing now.

They guys cut lots and lots of branches and they even took out this tree.

We added lots of dirt by the new RV pad.

9-19-2011... 6 years ago today you entered our lives and changed us forever.. You were so fat and cute.. I just couldn't get enough of you.. You gave us a rough start and ended up in the NICU for a week.. As a 8 lb 10 oz baby your were double what any other baby in the NICU at the time was.. We have had so much fun with you and can't believe how time as flown and how big you are now.. I'm hoping the next 6 years go a little slower and you don't grow so fast..

We went to St. Anthony Sand dunes over Labor day this year.. We hadn't been to these dunes since Carter was 1.. It was wonderful weather and we had lots of fun..

Man one day I will find to time to do everything I want to in a day.. It may be in 20 years when the kids are grown and gone but man it just seems there is too much to do in a day.. I remember 6 years ago working 2 jobs having a new born and thinking man one day I will have more time.. And yet somehow I got stuff done. And here I am 6 years later 3 kids and no job and I can't get much done. One day...... I can't believe it's already October.. Where did September go.. I will have to post pics later but we had a great September.. Went to the Sand dunes over Labor day and then of course Camden turned 6.. He is so big and such a great kid. We are so lucky to have him in our lives. And soon we will have snow and kids will be telling me all of the million things they want for Christmas.. Oh wait the wanting starting a long time ago.. Lets see goal of the day:::: Get something done that needs to be done.. And of course find time to post pics on the blog.. Oh and if anyone hasn't heard of Pintrest yet they should check it out.. Love it...

I can't believe my little guy is in Kindergarten.. He is so big I can't believe he is almost 6.. How time flies.. He was super excited to start school but very nervous to ride the bus. Of course he loved it and is loving school.

My wonderful hubby went a little tomato crazy this year.. We planted 27 tomato plants and lets just say I've had my elbows up in tomato's alot..

Did 31 jars of Salsa so far.. (and yes we want to do more...)

Done 22 Quarts of Stewed tomato's so far....

Did 12 Quarts of Tomato juice last night.. And the tomato's are just coming on now too..

And of course we had to do some jam... I did about 42 jars..

Some of the jam.. My mom, Courtnie, Megan and I spent the day doing 6 batches of jam.. Gotta have the jam I love it...

My niece Morgan and nephew Logan came and visited us this year.. I hadn't seen them in about 4 years.. They have gotten big and very tall.... We had lots of fun hanging with them... Wish we got to see them more often...

Marsh Lake 2011

We love Marsh Lake... So earlier this year when we tried to book reservations at Marsh lake they didn't have anything open that we wanted so we thought we would try somewhere else. So we booked up mirror lake highway. Well due to the snow we've had this year. They pretty much canceled our reservations up at Trial Lake and left us now where to go and gave us only a week notice.. So we figured we would try and get some first come sites at Marsh.. We were able to get three sited and even though we weren't right by each other we still had a blast.. And yes we camp from Sunday to Sunday.. And yes I was so ready to come home by the next Sunday..

We usually do the same things at Marsh.. First things first is you gotta go cut wood and then spend the day chopping it.

Second.. You gotta get those four wheelers unloaded and give the kids a ride.. Preston wanted a ride so bad he's just a little to small still. And they all love grandpa's little red four wheeler.

Third.. You have to go fishing.. We (well they) did pretty good this year they caught a bunch at the lake and then they caught some albino fish down at Stateline..

Fourth.. If you fish then you eat them.. Nate's family love to cook the fish over a fire.. Camden and Carter have never eaten so much food. They love lake/river fish.

Of course with all the wood we chopped the older boys usually do some wood work.. Nate this year carved knifes for the boys and then we painted them. It's their fav toy as of now.

Fifth.. We always take a drive at night to see the wildlife.. This year we loaded up in the grandparents Tahoe and the kids had a blast in the back seat.

Usually every night we had deer in our campground. Yep pic taken right at my trailer. This night we only had one and a few nights later we had about 4 deer walking around the area.

Me and Preston got to spend a lot of time together, the older boys we either off riding four wheelers, fishing or bike riding..

Sixth.. You gotta play some cards.. We didn't have too much rain up camping this year which was great but when we did its always nice to go inside and break out some games..

Seventh... You gotta go on some cool drives and find some cool stuff on a hike. We love to take a couple hours and go exploring and see whats around. The kids love learning about the wild flowers and smelling them. We found this great place with these super old cabins.. Needless to say I'm thankful for indoor plumbing..

One of the homes we came across. Yeah can't imagine living in that 12 x 12 box with 6 kids and grandparents and who knows what else..

We love Marsh Lake and we love going with Nate's family. My parents even came up for the day and brought my niece and nephew from New Hampshire with them. We had fun and can't wait for next year..

We got home from camping and I had to spend a couple days cleaning the trailer so we could get ready for our big camping trip of the year.. Needless to say while I had sleeping bags out the kids had fun..

Did a quick trip to Dock Flats last weekend.. We had fun hanging out and enjoying time with family.

Bear Lake

Nate had the whole week of the 4th off. We wanted to do a bunch of fun stuff, but of course i was sick all week. We did however make it up to bear lake for the day. We went with Nate's parents and had a good time.

The kids in the water, yeah it was very full and very cold.

Tried to get a cute family shot, just noticed Preston is not looking..

The kids loved throwing rocks into the water and searching for sea shells. with no beach there wasn't many sea shells lying around.

On our drive up we stooped at Tony Grove.. There was lots of snow and still lots of ice in the water..

We stooped at Ricks Springs on the way up too. Talk about over flowing.. You couldn't cross the bridge and they had Caution rope everywhere.. I've never seen so much water coming out of the Spring.

This year for the fourth we did the whole parade thing again.. We went to the Farr West parade where Camden is on the Appleseed float.. It was fun to watch him and it was great to have so many people there supporting him..

Carter was ready to get the candy.. We left with that bag pretty much full of candy..

Swim Lessons..

It's that time of year again, when we need to pull out the swim suits and jump in the pool... The kids were super excited for swim lessons this year.. Camden did a great job and is turning into a pretty good swimmer.

We are lucky enough that Nate's aunt has a pool and her daughter teaches swim lessons. It's nice to go just to the aunts house and watch the kids swim.

My little man is now 3.. He is so big and fun. He loves to follow his big brother around and try and do everything he does.. We are so glad he is in our lives..

Our attempt (well Nate's) to make a cake.. I don't do cakes.. I just can't do them. If you want a square cake with frosting then I'm your gal. But something cute I just can't do.. Well Nate wanted to try and make the cake this year.. Of course Carter wanted a monkey cake, Nate said no problem. Well it was a monkey cake under all that frosting.. But after spending the day at the zoo and not giving us enough time to decorate and the frosting not working like it should. This is what Carter got.. And do you know what.. He loved it.. He still called it his monkey cake (he had seen the monkey under the frosting..) And hey it's tasted great..

Opening some presents.. Kid sure did get spoiled..

And of course he's been waiting all year long for his b-day so he could have a pinata..

The Dirty Dash...

It all started with one little girls dream..... Well o.k. she is not a little girl but she is 4.10' My amazing friend Lindsay wanted us gals to all run a 5k this year. We said sure sign us up.. Little did we know what sort of race she would be signing us up for.. Anyone heard of a little race call The Dirty Dash? Well I hadn't ever heard of it. And let me tell you, it's a race you wont forget and you'll never be clean again..

It all started with us making shirts for the race.. I'm thinking really we are dressing up, man was I surprised at everyone who dressed up..

Race Day.. Oh yeah we are looking good and ready to run.

The back side.. Had to dress up the whole shirt.

The start of the race, oh yes up hill in mud... Then you kept going up hill then you had to jump over hay stacks, followed by more mud and then crawling through tunnels, which was followed by more mud and climbing over wood fences. Oh and in the mud you had freezing cold water blowing on you..

At this point we were a little dirty but not bad, we had to run through a bunch more mud and then we were running/walking up and down hills.

It got a little dirty here.. Well before this we had to climb up a big mud area, which was so slippery you were sliding all over and then you had to run/jump/slide down a big ol' bouncy thing. (which by the way was the funniest part of the race).. After this mud pit you had to pretty much crawl through a alot of more mud..

We decided this year to add on to our garden. Since Nate knows I'm not too keen on digging up more grass we wanted to try maybe some boxes.

The new and improved Garden area. I love love these new boxes. And we also planted Raspberry plants this year too. Can't wait for things to start growing and this cold weather to go away so we can plant our tomatoes.

Easter Weekend...

For Easter this year we headed back down to the dunes. We usually go every year but last year I was due anyday so we didn't make it down. The weather wasn't great but it didn't stop the kids from playing.

Preston hanging out in a chair, we had to keep him up the whole time. He burnt his foot on my curling iron earlier in the week and we didn't want sand getting into the sore. But he was so good the whole time.

A couple weeks ago the girls did a girls trip to Vegas.. We had a blast. I was maybe not going to go (been having some family issues and such) but they talked me into going. My mom ended up staying home so she was missed lots. But we had a blast. It was great to get away. And man did we laugh a lot. Not to mention the weather was great was 90 the whole time we were there.

Happy St. Patricks Day everyone.. Not sure what I was thinking but thought it would be cute to make green eggs for breakfast.. I've now decided that is what everyone's diet should be, only green things and if it isn't green make it green. I can bet you the food wont look that great so you wont eat as much and the weight will just drop off.

The egg mixture.. Was already thinking what did I do.. This looks so gross.

Decided yeah I made way to much cuz I was not going to touch the stuff. (I'm way to much of a picky eater)

Nocturnal What?

Camden is always coming up with the funniest things to say.. Like a couple weeks ago we meet my parents at Walmart did a little shopping and then decided to head to McDonald's.. As we are leaving Camden put his head out the window and said to my parents.. "If you can't keep up with us then just follow our dust." I thought it was so funny. And my mom asked if I told him to say that, I informed her he had a mind of his own and is always coming up with crazy things.

Then the other night we got home from Nate's parents. I told Camden to go in go potty and get on jammies.. He walks out and this is our conversation..
Camden: "Mom I just peed in the dark the whole time and didn't make a mess."
Me: "How do you know you didn't make a mess."
Camden: "Cuz I could hear my pee hitting in the toilet."
Me: "Oh o.k. Camden"
Camden: "Maybe my pee is nocturnal."

Then the laughing began.. I thought it was so funny.. I had to pick the phone up right then and call my mom and tell her, then I had to text Court and Heather and tell them.. It was so funny.. What little kid thinks like that.. He is so funny and just cracks us up non stop..

11 month

My little baby is a big 11 months old now.. I can't believe he will be one next month.. I'm not sure I'm ready for him to running around and me chasing..

He has been super sick this week, so I'm glad he is feeling better. (I needed him to be feeling better) He is so fun, and makes us laugh all the time.. We love him..

What can I say.. I've been a lazy mom.. Well sort of.. Camden last fall decided he wanted to grow his hair out. Must be from this whole Bieber craze going on.. Needless to say I said o.k. we can grow it out and then come spring we will see how it looks and what we want to do. I'm here to tell you my kids just don't do long.. They have my fine hair and it's just not good long on them.. My hair lady is having a baby next month so I decided time to Cut off the locks..

Snowman...

We woke up today with a big surprise.. 6 inches of snow.. The kids were excited, the parents not so much.. Meant we had a day of shoveling and dealing with kids wanting to go outside.. The kids talked Nate into building a snowman.. We haven't had great snowman snow this year. So even I was a little excited that they got to go out and I was even more excited when I didn't have to help.

For Valentines we got the kids tickets to Monster trucks.. We took Camden a couple years ago, and thought it would be fun to take both Camden and Carter this year.. It was Carters first time going to a fun event with us..

Doing some jumps.. The funny thing about this pic is during the freestyle part both these trucks rolled. It was great.. I think it became Camden's fav part. We usually never seem them roll.

Field Trip...

Last week Camden got to go to the Fire station for a field trip.. He was super excited to go and he had a good time..

Sitting in the firetruck, the whole class just climbed on in.

Listening to the fire firefighters talk to them.

They each got to take a turn and use a smaller hose and spray down cones.. Camden did a great job.

Me and Camden went to McDonald's after his field trip and got some ice cream. It was nice to spend just a little one on one time with him. He is always fighting for attention with the other two little ones around. I thought it was a good idea for us to go and have fun together..

Camden had to go in for his Kindergarten check up. Of course he looks great.. He had to get 2 shots and he took them like a man. Just layed there and acted like HEY IS THAT ALL YOU GOT!! He is so funny and he can't wait till he can go to Kindergarten. He was so bummed that he missed the deadline by a couple weeks.

Yeah... My little guy finally lifted his fat body off the ground and did some crawling today.. It was so cute and fun to watch. He has been doing the army crawl and he will get up on all 4 and rock back and forth but as he goes to crawl he always goes to his stomach. Well today at the tree house he was acted like he was gonna crawl and he did.. It was so cute. He only went maybe 3 feet (that was where the toy was at) and I've yet to get him to do it again today.. But I'm sure by the end of the weekend he will be all over the place. (even though he already is) .. Wish I had a pic to go along but hubby as the camera with him. So it will just have to wait.. But man we are excited to see him doing some crawling....

9 month checkup

Preston had his 9 mo check up today.. Glad to say he is a very healthy big boy..

Our little guy is not so little anymore.. We love him just the way he his.. We love those fat check and the rest of his fatness.. He is such a happy baby.. He has 7 teeth in and does really good with teething.. He is working on crawling.. He can finally lift his body off the ground and is doing the rocking motion.. I'm thinking in a week or so he'll be all over the place.. He already rolls anywhere he needs to go. It's also nice that he can go from laying to sitting.. We are very lucky to have such a wonderful little (big) guy..

Took the kids to the Tree house on Wed.. The kids had a blast. I was able to leave Preston home with Bunna (my mother) so it was nice not to carry him around. Carter is asking to go back again today, but not sure it's in the cards.

I think the red hat looks good on him.

They built this new climbing thing that takes you up to the middle of the tree, the kids love climbing up and down it.

Just some fun pics I needed to post..

Had a play date with a friend and my niece last friday. Me and Carter baked cupcakes early that morn after shoveling the snow.. Being the nice mom that I am.. I let him lick the beater at 8:20 a.m. I think he even got some in his mouth.
While putting this post up Carter came and saw the pic and said "Look at my face I want to do that again."

The little babies.. As you can see they weren't too happy to have there picture taken.. Alex is 6 weeks younger then P and 6 weeks older the Anyston. I'm still afraid Preston could eat them both..

Put the kids goggles on Preston and he thought they were fun for 2 sec, then he started pulling on them. I thought they looked cute on his fat face.

My little Camden is so funny.. He is such a little honest Abe.. Which is great I guess. But sometimes a mom doesn't want to hear certain things.. My example..

While Exercising tonight (one of those stupid resolutions) me and Camden are running circles in the basement and Camden of course has lapped me a few times and is coming up behind me again when he declares "MOM you butt moves up and down while your running" I just had to laugh and say "Yep I know" he then replied "My butt doesn't move when I run" I had to inform him that he doesn't have any fat on his butt to make it move.. Just had to laugh and keep running..

A nEw YeAr? (Already)

I can't believe 2010 is over and we have started a new year.. How time flies when your having kids and raising kids and such.. We had an amazing 2010.. We were blessed to have another adorable little boy. We are so lucky to have him in our lives and I couldn't imagine him not around. As I've reflected about the last year and thought of what I should work on for this year.. I've come to a realization that man I need a lot of work.. LOL And my goals may need to be a lifetime thing or something.. LOL Or maybe I should set a new one every month that way I could maybe keep a few..

For sure this year I want to:::

:: Be a better daughter
:: Be a better wife
:: Be a better friend
:: Be better to myself
:: And the number one thing Make some amazing memories with my family..... Be sillier, be funnier, be smarter, and have fun...

A silly picture me and the boys took today.. They are so great and wonderful.. I'm not sure why I was blessed with such great kids, but they are the best in the world.. They sure can cause me pain and I'm not sure how I will handle 3 teenage boys (mom any suggestion?). But we have had so much fun with them I can't wait for all the exciting things we have in store as our family goes out in the world and plays..

Holiday Project (not my idea.. lol)

Nate was able to take the week between Christmas and New Years off this year.. The kids were very excited to have him around for 10 days.. I of course thought we would be doing some fun stuff and some cleaning of course.. He had other ideas.. We finished most of our basement last spring, but we still had the cold storage to do and we still have a bathroom that has some more work to be done.. Well Nate decided while he had a week off he would do the cold storage. I thought sure it wont take that long lets do it..

Of course we had to put up Foam Insulation to keep it cold in the summer and colder in the winter. I call it my Pepto room. LOL

And the foam is pretty soft I think he might of also made it in case I go crazy one day.. (I'll have my padded room ready if needed)

The finished project.. Nate and his dad cut all the wood and then I helped assembly and such. It's not a huge room just big enough to hold food.

Now the goal of getting it full of food for 2 years. (Thank heavens for case lot sales.. LOL)

Wonderful Christmas

With the basment done now, we decided to put out tree downstairs this year. I was not too thrilled at first. Thinking we are not always downstairs and we wont get to enjoy it as much. Then I thought of Preston and how he would be getting into it non stop.

So down it went. I love it downstairs and it's been great that Preston is not destroying it every chance he gets.

I am hoping next year to save some $$$ and maybe get another tree upstairs, that way we can enjoy a tree in both places..

The other day someone asked me if Preston was 18mo. I laughed and said "No but his cloths are" I informed them that he would be 8 months old this Friday.. I can't believe how big my little guy is.. Not only is he wearing 18 mo old stuff but I felt his 6th tooth last night.. He shouldn't be growing this fast.. He needs to slow down and stay a little baby for me.. My niece informed me that he must be growing in Dog years.. That even though he is only 8 mo old his body is really 20 mo old.. He is such a cutie, always laughing and smiling. My only problem is the kid weighs so much I can hardly haul him around and talk about hauling him in his car seat and throwing it up into the truck.. It's quite a scene. I figure I better enjoy my time with him while he is somewhat smaller if he is really growing in dog years heck he'll be wearing size 3T and running around before he's 1 if it's true...

Once upon a time there was a mommy who had 3 adorable children.. Her adorable children took so much of her time she just never really felt like she got anything done.. She felt like she did the same 30 tasks every day and didn't get a chance to get other things on her list done.. She also found when her children were being good so she could get something done.. They weren't really being good. Today... 12-7-10.. Mommy was folding laundry in bedroom while she thought Carter was being good watching tv. And baby was playing in bouncer.. Little did Mommy know what Carter had in store for her..... (*Also should mention mommy had already cleaned up Carter and the bouncer 2 hours earlier and thought she had put things were Carter could not get them..)

I came out to see that once again Carter had gotten a hold of the dry eraser marker and had drawn all over his hand again.. (At least not on his face this time.)

Then mommy noticed he had also drawn all over the bouncer again.. **Mom was getting a little mad..

Then Mom noticed Carter had also taken the liberty to make Preston's face a little better looking.. And that is where I lost it and started laughing..

Hill Museum

On Black Friday.. After I had done my 4am. shopping and put the tree up. We headed out for some more shopping and ended up at the Hill Museum.. I haven't been to the museum since I was probably Camden's age. I did have to go there once for work but we didn't look around. We have wanted to go for the last few years and since it's free you would think we would go lots. For anyone who lives around here I would recommend going.. Lots of fun planes to see and in the summertime they have planes outside you can check out.

Just some cute pics of the boys.. They are starting to play really good with eachother. I'm hoping that continues. They are also fighting alot with eachother. I remember as a kid my 3 older brother fighting non stop and my mom saying to them "If your going to fight go outside" It makes me laugh since I'm always thinking of saying that to my kids and thinking how is my house going to survive 3 boys. It all ready as lots of dents, scratches and stains. I figure in 15 years we can move get a new house and maybe that one will stay clean and dent free. Then again I'm pretty sure Grandkids mess up your house also.

What can I say like father like son, heck like Papa like Grandson.. My boys for some odd reason are a little obsessed with guns, knifes and such. I guess it's a boy thing. Even my little Preston has found the love of guns.. I can tell these boys are gonna give me a run for my money..

What a stud he is.. He is getting so big and with 5 teeth he is ready for some meat... He is getting close to crawling.. We are so lucky to have such a great little guy.

30: Wanted to go to bed at 9 cuz kids were sleeping

21: Slept in and did whatever I wanted on my birthday

30: Was up at 7:15 cuz Carter wanted a Waffle

21: I'm sure I was hanging with my mom getting ready to go to Vegas for my birthday

30: Got a sitter so I could do lunch with some amazing girlfriends

21: Had wonderful dinner/date with boyfriend (weekend before)

30: Had wonderful dinner/date with husband(weekend before, and was with that same guy 9 years before)

21: Had dirty cloths to pick up off floor

30: Had whole house to pick up and take care of 3 kids.

21: Night of Birthday hung out with lots of friends while getting ready to go dancing

30: Going to Del Taco for Taco Tuesday so kids can play

What a difference a few years make. Even though turning 21 was great I was still just a baby. I can now say I've done a few things had a few kids and I'm glad I'm not out every night till 3 a.m. I'm so glad to have such great friends and family. And I'm so glad that 30 is now the new 20....

Camden is loving Preschool this year.. (Poor kid missed going to kindergarten by 19 days) I am glad he will be one of the oldest in his class. All the kids were super cute all dressed up and then they sang Halloween songs for us.. It was super cute..

What a great Halloween we had... They boys had lots of fun and did lots of things. We started by doing the ward Trunk or Treat and they had fun doing that. The next day Camden got to dress up for preschool (pictures coming soon). And right after Preschool we headed to Nate's work where they go trick or treating.. They get enough candy at Nate's work that we could provide all the candy for a ward trunk or treat. Needless to say I have more then enough candy at my house.. And then not only did the kids go trick or treating we also had a Halloween party at Nate's parents house on Halloween. (Pictures to come)

So the other day me and my mom went to Walmart to get some stuff and what do I see in the parking lot. Brett Michael's tour bus.. I'm thinking why in the heck would Brett have his tour bus at the Ogden Walmart my mom had no clue he was was. (Had to laugh at that). As we were coming a guy was walking to the bus he punched some magic key pad and he went in the bus. I'm thinking really is Brett on that bus?

I told my mom that if the bus was still there when we came out I was gonna take a pic of it. Sure enough after an hour of shopping the bus is still there and now people are parking around the bus and standing around taking pictures. I had noticed a white sheet of paper on the window when we had come so I decided to take a look the paper it read "Brett Michael's is not on this bus he is at home with his family" REALLY? Like if he was on the bus it would say Brett is on the bus.. Or maybe they wouldn't have anything.. I'm thinking of course they probably always have that sign on that. Hello doesn't matter sign or no sign people are going to ask and the bus guys are going to say "Sorry he's not on the bus" So really Brett Michael's could've been sitting in his bus in the Ogden Walmart Parking lot enjoying a Big Mac while people are standing around taking pictures? I guess no one will ever know.. I just thought it was funny to see the tour bus there and had to take a pic. And the sign made it even better. I may put that sign on my car when I go somewhere.. "Mandy is not in this vehicle she is at home with her kids" LOL

A few weeks ago we did Family pictures with Nate's side of the family. We haven't gotten family pictures taken with Nate's family since Carter was 4 months old and haven't had pictures with my family since I was pregnant with Carter and didn't know it yet.. I think the pictures turned out pretty good. The kids were all good and we had a good time.

Had to get a cute shot of Preston. He was gonna be 6 mo old the next day so we thought it would be a good time to get a new photo of him. What a stud he is.

This is Nate's family. Check out all those boys.. Yep no granddaughters for them. Come end of Nov. they will have 10 grandsons.. We got our self an army.

I wish Preston was looking at the camera but we know how that goes getting a baby to look at something. It turned out well enough.

I had Preston's 6 mo check up today.. And my little guy is not so little.. Here are his stats...

Weight... 20.63 lbs 89%

Length... 27.8 in 85%

Head..... 18.0 in 92%

Of course the doctor said you are looking good.. I'm glad he was only 20 pounds. I swear he feels heavier.. I also had Camden and Carter step on the scale. Camden weighed in at 44lbs and Carter was up to 28 lbs.. Yeah for Carter he is such a little guy. I also stepped on the scale but I'm not talking about that.. LOL

I think I forgot about this pic.. The last time we went to the dunes I needed to help Nate with the trailer and I had Fatty. So I put him in the side compartment where the extra water goes.. It was so funny.. He just layed there and kicked..

Our first attempt at Sweet Potatoes.. He didn't love them. My boy does not like baby food he likes real food. What can I say he's a Thorsted.. He goes this week for his 6 mo check up so we will see how big the Fatty is now.. He has 2 teeth and loves to chomp..

Well after 5 long years of growing my hair out.. I decided I needed a change. So sick of being in that same rut.. With the 3 boys they keep me so busy all I do is put the hair back in a pony. I decided with me turning 30 next month it was only a matter of time before I had my mid life crisis and did something crazy.. Well that day came today... I chopped off the hair and heck now I can grow it out again.. **Camden took the first 3 not to bad of a camera guy...

Last weekend we took the boys up to South Fork. My parents came with us and we had a blast. I couldn't believe how great the weather was for it being October. We had lots of fun.

Just our little family decided to go camping a couple weeks ago. It was so nice for it just to be us. We had a great time. The weather was wonderful and the kids had fun.

We took a drive up to Inspiration point. For those who don't know where that is, it's pretty much the top of Willard Peak which is by Ben Lomand Peak. We drove the truck the whole way up. The kids loved it and I enjoyed not gettting dusty. We could see our house from the top of the mountain. The view was wonderfu.

My little guy is growing up.. Camden celebrated his 5th birthday a few weeks ago. How time flies.. He is getting so big and he is such a big helper with his brothers. We are so lucky to have him in our lives.

My boys favorite treat is Cookies N Milk they love when they get to have some. They love eating it with there dad. It's the special thing they do together. They always seem to make a mess but the love every minute of it.

Preschool

Camden started preschool yesterday. He was super excited to go. (Although I might have been a little more excited) This is his 2nd year in preschool doing the 4yr old preschool class this time. He misses the deadline to go to Kindergarten by 19 days. Poor little man. I'm fine with him being the oldest in his class though. He had a fun first day and I can't wait for him to go back tomorrow. LOL

And of course he had to give me a funny face.

Labor Day dune trip

We love the dunes... This weekend we packed up and headed out for our annual Labor Day dune trip. Even though it was pretty hot we had a good time. The kids had fun in the dirt and the big boys had fun riding in the sand.

Bear Lake

Last year we took a drive to Bear Lake and let the kids play in the water, they had so much fun they have been bugging us to do it again. So a couple weeks ago we decided to take a drive and let the kids play. We stopped and got a Rasberry shake and then headed to the lake. It was actually pretty windy that day so the water was a little chilly. The kids still had a blast.

Rice Cereal

When at Preston's doc apt a couple weeks ago he told us that even though he doesn't recommend doing Rice Cereal till the babies are around 6 months old he said that sometimes bigger babies have a harder time sleeping through the night so if we wanted we could try it. So we did. He was not sure what to think. He didn't love eating from a spoon. My other kids never liked the rice cereal in a bottle but we tried it with Preston and he loves it. So every night he gets Rice Cereal with his bottle and it's been helping him sleep much better.

Thinking this kid is gonna be a eater. LOL

So took Preston to his 4 mo check up today. I know it's a little late but his 2 mo was late. He is a very healthy boy.. Weighing in at 18lbs 7 oz. He is also very tall for his age. Both his weight and age were in the 93%. And his head is in the 81%. Thinking really there is 7% of babies bigger then him. Yicks I feel for those parents.. I can barley haul my moose around. We are so thankful for our giant baby. Glad he is healthy and such a good little guy.. We love him.

Had to share these pics.. So cute.. Nate has my camera so I've been taking pics with my phone. I thought it was so funny when Preston was trying to eat his toe. He loves to play with his feet but he usually never gets them to his mouth (too much fat to go through) but today he did it. It was cracking me up. He thought he could get his mouth and feet in.

My new fav pic of him. I get lots of smiles out of this kid but usually by the time the camera takes the pic he is making some weird face. So I was so glad I got this super cute pic of him. My little baby is getting so big.

Chuck E Cheese

While Nate is off in Saudi we are trying to do some fun things to pass the time so today for Boston's b-day we went to Chuck E Cheese. I haven't been to the new one in Layton. The kids had fun and it was nice that all the games and such are only 1 token. It was fun that they had things that took your picture too.

OH yeah.. These cards are awesome. I love Camden's face in this one. It turned out so funny, and getting the Stunt Master card made it great.

Carter was so funny we had to hold him up to try and take this he didn't understand to just sqaut a little bit so he could be in the pic.

And of course Preston was looking at the camera till it counted to 1 and then he turned his head.

And hey I got the CSI card.. You didn't get to pick your cards you just go to pick if you wanted a boy or girl card. But I think they turned out great.
